Rules & Guidance
Community standards and event guidelines for all Walkies participants.
Be excellent to each other.
That's the short version. Everything else below is just what that looks like in practice.
Community Rules
General Conduct
- Be respectful and welcoming to all members regardless of fitness level, experience, or background.
- Keep conversations inclusive — avoid controversial, political, or divisive topics during events.
- Do not harass, bully, or demean other members in any form.
- Follow VRChat's Community Guidelines at all times.
Events
- Join events on time. If you're going to be late, let the host know in advance.
- Do not disrupt ongoing events by creating excessive noise, spamming, or griefing.
- Respect the host's decisions during an event — if they ask you to stop something, stop.
- Keep avatar performance reasonable so others can participate comfortably.
Safety
- Listen to your body. Take breaks as needed — this is supposed to be fun, not harmful.
- Do not pressure other members to push beyond their physical limits.
- Hosts are responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment during their events.
Event Guidance
As a Participant
- Arrive ready before the event starts.
- If you need to leave mid-event, do so quietly without disrupting others.
- Cheer others on — the community runs on good vibes!
World & Avatar Etiquette
- Use avatars appropriate for a public, mixed-audience community.
- Avoid worlds or content that could make others uncomfortable — when in doubt, ask the host first.
- Keep avatar audio volumes at a reasonable level.
Moderation
Violations of these rules may result in removal from an event, temporary muting, or a ban from future events depending on severity. Repeat offences will be escalated to community moderators.
If you witness a rule violation, please report it to a moderator or host directly.
